After breast augmentation, you'll have to wait for your plastic surgeon to clear you for swimming. It's important to allow three to four weeks for your breast incisions to heal completely, so that water won't cause an infection or interfere with the still-healing incisions.

If you swim in pools or at the beach, or otherwise non-competitively, your breast augmentation does not interfere with swimming. Much like natural breast tissue, breast implants won't cause your breasts to be overly buoyant.

Breast augmentation means you can lounge at the pool or have a sun-filled day at the beach while feeling more confident in a swimsuit. Many women are most excited about this aspect of their breast augmentation results.
